Rock Star Web 2.0 Developer for Exciting Computer Vision Startup

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about web development to join our team and work side by side with a talented group of software developers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are a small, fully funded computer vision start-up company looking for a talented and motivated individual to help in the development of our web-based user interface. We’re looking for a candidate with a deep knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript design patterns and extensive experience with JQuery for building cross-browser applications. Experience with Python would also be a plus as it is used on the backend. We are also getting into HTML 5 / Canvas to bring our streaming video and other web content to the tablet market, which you would also have the opportunity to work on.

To this end, experience in the following technologies is essential:

• JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML.
• Knowledge of Python-based web frameworks such as Django, CherryPy, Flask, etc.

And, while not necessarily a requirement, a keen interest in all things electronic is much appreciated around here. For example, if any of the following describes you, we would like to hear from you!

• You read Reddit with your morning coffee
• You have submitted bug fixes to open source projects
• You run a LAMP stack on an old PC to serve your blog
• You rooted your android phone to get rid of crapware
