Overview
Booklr is currently seeking a versed engineer and perfectionist, ready to take ownership of entire projects and lead the development and evolution of our revolutionary platform.
Responsibilities
Lead the full platform agile-development lifecycle, including product requirements review and analysis, technical requirements, software design, development, testing, integration, deployment, and support.
Work closely with founders and other business stakeholders to review, assess, and identify new business objectives and market requirements
Work closely with other staff and consultants (both on-site and offshore), including project managers, graphic artists, designers, developers, systems analysts, and sales and marketing teams.

Skills
Extraordinary software engineering talent
Substantial experience developing web applications
Knowledge of Ruby on Rails and related technologies, including Gems, Capistrano, Rake, Passenger, Cucumber, and Bundler
Knowledge of Information Retrieval theory and Search Indexing Technologies (Lucene, Sphinx, Solr, Autonomy, etc)
Knowledge of Server/Infrastructure technologies including Apache, Nginx, Memcache, Varnish, Squid, and/or HAProxy
Education
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent
