Overview
Do you love to travel? Love to write code as well? Come join an exciting startup fusing travel, hospitality & technology in Boulder.
We love vacation home rentals. Relaxing with friends and family in a big place with a great kitchen and a pool is so much better than staying in a cramped, crowded hotel. VRP is taking the vacation rental experience to the next level by solving the problems surrounding trust, discovery, and booking of vacation homes. We’re building the next great hospitality brand in the travel industry – think “Starwood Hotels” of vacation rentals.
Responsibilities
We’re looking for developers that get a rush from pushing the envelope in usability and interactivity, who feel great when writing clean, well-tested code, and just “get it” when it comes to building for tomorrow’s web. We’re focused on highly user centric, modern web products for Vacation Rentals – the fastest growing segment of the travel industry. Think Rails 3.2, Postgres 9.1, Heroku. You’ll be working on production code and shipping features daily. You will be joining a small engineering team, playing a key role in both shaping and building our technologies. Your scope will be broad: ranging from user-facing features to server-side components and libraries. We are looking for a generalist who enjoys rapidly learning and working with different technologies.
