Overview
Studyhall.com is the first place college students go to study, share and connect with classmates. Our platform makes studying social in a new way, thus providing an outlet for student notes, homework and project collaboration.
Responsibilities
You’ll work on coding with a variety of languages, compiled and interpreted. There will be some great challenges to solve including social graph algorithms, improving speed and scalability, building web features, prototyping new technologies or product ideas, designing APIs for partners or improving our search or recommendations systems.
Experience
Experience with Ruby on Rails
Skills
You can do some real programming, with a variety of languages, compiled and interpreted. There will be some genuine challenges to solve that allow us to quickly scale agile code.
You’re programmed with Ruby on Rails and/or hacked your own applications.
You understand complex databases and can craft queries.
As a requirement, you must be extremely proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript.
Exceptional front-end dev skills + UI/UX understanding.
Solid web development experience with another language and platform, e.g., PHP & Zend/CakePHP/Kohana/Symfony/CoffeeScript or Python & Django.
Exposure to Scrum and/or Extreme Programming.
