BrightNest is changing the way people take care of their homes. We are a web-based platform that delivers engaging organizational tools, expert recommendations and creative content to homeowners across the US and Canada.
We are fresh out of a four-month accelerator program in Silicon Valley (500 Startups) and are funded by some fantastic investors like: David Cohen, Dave McClure, OCA Ventures, New World Ventures. Now, we’re back in Denver and looking for an additional Rails/JavaScript developer to help us rock the homeowner experience.

Responsibilities
WHAT WE USE:
Ruby 1.9.3 and Rails 3.2
HAML/Sass/JQuery/CoffeScript/RSpec
PostgreSQL, Resque/Redis
Git and GitHub
Pivotal Tracker
Hosted with Heroku
Experience
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We are a fast-moving, lean startup machine. We believe in rapid iteration based on A/B testing, metrics and user feedback. This means we need someone who can hussle. You should feel comfortable thinking quickly, being creative, and working in a fast-paced environment.
We’re looking for someone who can navigate all areas of a Ruby on Rails project. You can take design assets and product discussions and build an entire feature/product on your own. You have an ongoing love affair with interactive JavaScript and clean modern AJAX design.
A developer who works towards constant refactoring to improve the codebase. You understand RSpec/Test::Unit and know how to use it.
