We are seeking a smart, hard-working, and organized individual to join our small team on a contract-to-hire basis. You are passionate about user experience and will be responsible for making our web apps look great on a wide range of devices. We are a seed-funded startup run by experienced entrepreneurs. Responsibilities
Build rich web-apps for multiple devices
Create User Experience flow to optimize conversion, retention, and virality
Write high-quality code and documentation
Work hard in a startup environment!
Experience
At least 3 years on-the-job coding/design experience
Smart, ambitious, independent, high standards for your own work
Excellent written & verbal English communication skills
Quick study, willing to learn new tools
Skills
HTML and CSS master (bonus for HAML and SASS/SCSS)
Eye for design, UI/UX knowledge
Angular.js
Git
Experience with javascript unit tests and end-to-end tests
Experience testing web software on a variety of platforms, including mobile
Proficiency with social media APIs
Proficiency with Ruby On Rails preferable
Proficiency with HTML5 preferable
Compensation
