Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will think-through and design the system architecture in order to develop a scalable & high-quality web application against budget and deadline. Rails experience is a must and fluent English is very important in order to communicate within the team.
Experience
Extensive experience with web development.
At least 2 - 4 years experience building with the Ruby language and the Rails framework, be proficient with the entire Ruby on Rails stack
Database: Experience with MySQL and/or Postgres or equivalent, as well as Mongo, Couch or other non-relational databases.
Skills
Javascript: jQuery & CoffeeScript, Ajax as well as other popular frameworks and tools.Fluency with a variety of cloud-based services such as Amazon Web Services.
Experience developing with eCommerce Marketplace APIs a plus.
You like to stay on the cutting edge of web application development and are into agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD)
Education
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Compensation
Compensation depends on experience and will include bonus related to achievement of development milestones.
