SAP HR BI Architect
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Candidate should possess thought leadership in the definition, design and build of solutions for all BI Platforms (SAP-BW, SAP BOBJ, SAP Data Services and others) with SAP HCM systems.
Work closely with the HR IT and HR Business teams to capture requirements and provide project execution support
The scope of responsibility is end-to-end beginning with the acquisition of data through the reporting of data to the end user (ETL, Master Data Management, Large Data Bases, OLAP, and Reporting….).
The position will provide application architecture leadership across multiple project teams of 1-10 individuals onsite, onshore, and offshore through the design, build, test, and deploy of all BI solutions.
Day to day activities will include collaboration with members of the BI Development team as well as related teams in order to establish clear direction and execution against application architecture standards.
The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for the creation of the logical designs of BI solutions, governance of standards and guidelines compliance, and ensuring all solutions are in line with our BI strategy and roadmap.
All design documents (technical specifications, etc) are approved by the Senior Solution Architect before development of a solution can begin.
Experience
Required Experience
A proven track record of high performance with a minimum of 10-12 years of increasing technical and architecture responsibility.
A proven track record in large scale SAP BW implementation and performance optimization with at least 6-8 end-to-end implementations most of them in the SAP HCM area.
Demonstrated effective communication, project management, change management, facilitation, conflict resolution, analysis, and interpretation, visionary and strategic thinking skills.
Comprehensive understanding of Information Technology methodologies, ERP applications and BI Reporting.
Should have worked extensively on SAP HCM and SAP CRM as data sources for the BI landscapes, and should have good business process understanding.
Key Candidate Skills Required
Leadership experience of a reporting or BI development team.
Must be able to assimilate information and make sound business decisions.
Must be experienced in translation of BI requirements to technical solutions.
Experience within Fortune 500 technology organizations
10-12+ years' combined experience in the following IT areas:
Advanced knowledge in current SAP BI technologies - SAP BW, SAP Business Objects (BOBJ)
Application Development Methodology
Technology Architecture & Standards Knowledge, coupled with Service Delivery understanding for Change and Release management.
Data Warehousing (requirements analysis, design/build for data and reporting, roll-out and support
Solution Configuration
practical experience with requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of BI Solutions (End-to-End), over multiple technologies, size and scale of projects
Delivery of Solution Design Deliverables (Data Models, Conceptual and System Design
Software and Infrastructure Change Management, Release Management, and Source Code Configuration Control including knowledge of ITSM and SAP Transport Management System
