The SAP Lead Security Administrator will have the sole responsibility for all aspects of SAP Security Administration including user management, role & profile development, custom authorization development, central user administration and SOD (Segregation of Duties) Analysis to ensure a secure SAP system while allowing end users the appropriate access to complete their tasks & responsibilities.
Typical experience 8-10 years in SAP Security
Subject Matter expert, and process improvement experience
Provide appropriate & timely administration of SAP security and controls including design, testing, and delivery of security roles for named users and processes across multiple SAP platforms including ECC 6.0, HCM, CRM, BI and Enterprise Portal
Identify, create & maintain security access roles, which are sufficient to support overall functional system access by job role requirements for both current and future needs. All security designs should incorporate current best practices.
On-going evaluation of security needs; monitor effectiveness and troubleshoot issues that arise from users. Act as a subject matter expert on all issues related to security access for SAP.
Collaborate with Compliance teams and act as primary point of contact for Compliance/SOX testing evidence and documentation for SAP Access Controls.
Use 3rd party tools to monitor SOD conflicts, administer Emergency Repair/Firefighter access, and provision new users.
Have 8+ years of experience in SAP security administration, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
Proficiency in SAP security administration and processes across multiple SAP systems as well as knowledge of SAP role authorizations, creation and maintenance.
Must have knowledge of SAP security concepts, auditing, and user provisioning.
Experience in securing SAP ECC, PI, BW and Portal environments.
Identity Management Experience.
Security Risk Assessment or Management experience.
Audit, governance and compliance experience.
SAP GRC experience or equivalent a strong plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimum supervision
Must be capable of working flexible hours sometimes under pressure of aggressive deadlines
Ability to handle multiple priorities, communicate task status clearly and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Ability to collaborate with other team members working remotely from various US and global locations
Must have strong technical foundation and strong problem solving skills
