Duration: 18 months
Analyzes complex business requirements, writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff. Acts as a technical resource for security, infrastructure and SAS administration efforts. Participates in testing and the migration of software applications to production. Acts as an escalation point for application support and user troubleshooting via helpdesk support. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and participates on the testing and implementation of the business continuation plan, system modifications and performance tuning. Develops and implements security models in SAS Management Console. Troubleshoots and supports server environment. Adhere to change control procedures. Monitor system performance and service level agreements.
4 year degree and 5+ years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5-7 years SAS background (including configuration, testing, debugging)
2+ years experience working with CRON scripts and/or Autosys
5+ years experience working with UNIX
5+ Experience working with SAS version 9.1.3 (maintaining)
2+ years experience with SAS SPDS
Experience working with Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, and Enterprise Miner
Experience working with Teradata, Oracle, DB2, Informix, SQL Server (connection configuration)
Experience working with NDM
Experience in SAS code optimization
Experience in security and workspace administration in SAS Management Console
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self motivated, independent worker with good organization, analytical and problem solving skills
