New York Media seeks an enthusiastic, focused and hard working individual to sell our Search Engine Marketing products to small and medium sized local business in New York. You must be comfortable making a high volume of cold calls, managing multiple relationships simultaneously and working in a team-selling environment.
The position is based in New York City and reports to the Director of Print and Integrated Sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Proactively prospecting and qualifying potential advertisers.
Pitching our new SEM services to local businesses.
Constantly thinking of creative ways to find potential clients.
Meeting individual monthly targets and helping the team do the same.
Providing feedback to drive new product features.
Taking on additional projects to improve team efficiency.
Becoming an expert on the Internet advertising market.
A minimum of 2 years experience in selling.
Passionate about sales and the Internet;
Search Engine Marketing experience required;
Detail-oriented, with the ability to complete a large volume of work quickly.
Strong computer skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
