Overview
BetterWorks is seeking Sales Associates to sell, evangelize and successfully demonstrate our B2B platform to local vendors. This is an entry level job and strong performers will be recruited into more senior sales, marketing, product and/or operational roles in the company.

This job is specifically targeted at individuals with 0 - 2 years of work experience. You'll spend your days calling vendors and educating them on the benefits of joining our program. You'll get to negotiate business relationships with these vendors and you'll work with a team of serial entrepreneurs. This is the first step into our growing sales organization - everyone from lawyers to college grads have started here and worked their way up - we reward performance.

You’ll work with a wide range of local vendors including:

Health & Wellness (gyms, fitness instructors, yoga and more)
Food & Beverage (restaurants, catering, coffee shops, food delivery)
Personal Services (Laundry, home cleaning, car care, personal planning)
Education (offline & online providers, colleges, skills training)
Family Services (daycare, legal assistance, after school programs)
And More (pet sitters, theme parks, entertainment venues...)
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to sell and may have one to two years of sales experience. A leadership background is preferred. Your time management, communication skills, and a burning desire to succeed are essential.

Experience
0 - 2 years of experience in a sales/commission-based role
Very strong communication skills (oral & written)
Ability to effectively manage time, reach decision-makers and quickly determine opportunity potential
Interest in technology and the ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms
Compensation
Salary plus commission ($25k - $45k per year)
