Sales Associate

Overview
Join a fast-paced, exciting new startup as we prepare to expand our offering aggressively in NYC and other new markets. SELECT is looking for qualified sales and business development associates to help grow our product offering through the acquisition of new business and restaurant partners.
Responsibilities
Prospecting and building relationships with local restaurants.
Cold-calling, canvassing areas of the city, meeting managers, GM's and owners, getting meetings with decision makers, obtaining commitment and managing relationships.
Developing B2B marketing and acquisition strategies.
Experience
Sales experience across different industries highly preferred.
Experience with daily deal companies like Groupon, LivingSocial, Gilt.*
Experience getting to decision makers at local businesses and obtaining commitment.*
Experience in the restaurant industry.*
**Not required experience, but will greatly boost an applicants resumé.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent networking abilities.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Compensation
Compensation is primarily tied to performance and can become quite substantial once a good pipeline of businesses has been created. Sales Associates also receive a percentage of overall revenues which are currently growing at 25-50% / month.
