Sales Associate For Mobile Solutions Firm (Mobile Applications, Mobile Web)

Overview
SALES ASSOCIATE

A Sales Associate at Atomic Axis is typically the initial point of contact for prospective
clients. Sales Associates must be able to understand the prospect’s business objectives,
and then communicate how our service offerings can help them meet their goals. Our
Sales Associates help prospects through every stage of the sales cycle – from nurturing
the relationship to assisting in negotiating the contract. Additionally, Sales Associates
should maintain close relationships with our customers and help to develop and sell
additional projects/services over time.

SUMMARY:

Under general supervision from the Director of Sales, Sales Associates works with
Atomic Axis Marketing and Development personnel to sell Mobile products and related
services to prospects and existing clients in the domestic United States and abroad.
Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Meeting and exceeding individual sales quota while adhering to Atomic Axis’’s
sales rules of engagement.​
2. Continually learning new products and acquiring better selling skills.​ May be
required to attend training events throughout the year and will be expected to
participate in self-paced learning when appropriate.​
3. Being well informed about current industry trends and being able to talk
intelligently about the mobile industry as a whole.​
4. Able to challenge a client's assumptions, acting as their trainer/guide to create the
best outcome in their mobile needs/wants
5. Understanding and using Salesforce.​com.​
6. Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products in the mobile
industry.
7. Attending and participating in sales meetings, networking events, product
seminars and trade shows (*sometimes events will require after hours
participation)
8. Developing and delivering Prospect specific sales presentations.​
9. Developing and delivering proposals in response to Requests for Information /​
Requests for Proposals.​
10. Facilitating the contract negotiation process.​
11. Managing your sales pipeline through the entire sales process from start to finish.​
12. Maintaining client relationships and selling additional products/​services into
existing clients.​
13. Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Experience
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree; 3+​ years of direct sales experience and 1 +​ years of mobile solutions
selling experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.​
Ideal candidate will come from a business or technology sales background.
Skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Sufficient knowledge of one or more of the following business areas: Mobile
Application Development, Mobile Web Design, Mobile Marketing, Mobile
Learning/Education
2. Deep working knowledge of complex sales and solution selling concepts.​
3. Skilled in client negotiations and in contracting procedures.​
4. Skilled in prospecting, including but not limited to: cold calling, networking, and
email campaigns.​
5. Information absorber: constantly reading, learning, engaging, and synthesizing
topics related to the mobile industry
6. Experience in selling custom software professional services
7. Productive collaborator working in partnership with team members and clients
8. Experience working with software developers and the development process.​
9. Strong client-facing skills, including but not limited to: meeting facilitation,
effective presentations, one-on-one and one-on-many communication, effective
questioning and information gathering (discovery) skills.​
10. Strong written and oral communication skills.​
11. Working knowledge of Salesforce.​com.​
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Education
Bachelor's degree; 3+​ years of direct sales experience and 1 +​ years of mobile solutions
selling experience
Compensation
Base Salary Plus Commission
