Sales Associate / Hustler for high growth startup in San Francisco

Overview
Datepress is seeking a Sales Associate / Hustler, to be responsible for the establishment of partnerships with merchants and distribution partners in order to expand the Company’s pipeline and visibility. A successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in a similar role, strong sales & marketing experience and an ability to summarize and communicate complex ideas succinctly.
Responsibilities
Develops a business plan and overall sales strategy to ensure the success of Company goals
Responsibilities include creation of proposals, sourcing of potential partners and maintaining relationships with existing partner companies
Develops action plans to form partnerships and initiates and coordinates the plan to penetrate new markets
Refine existing sales process in reaching partners to improve overall timing / success rate
Conduct research on sales channels and the most cost effective way to reach partners
Build and develop relationships with distribution channel partners to bring in additional market opportunities
Provides feedback regarding performance of partners and action plans
Maintains accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports as determine by internal site statistics
Experience
Prior experience in Internet or corporate sales preferable
Self-starter with a driven, independent work-ethnic and the ability to work towards team goals in a collaborative environment
Work experience within sales in managing numerous partnerships is preferable
Candidates must demonstrate strong inquisitive aptitude with a high level of attention to detail
Candidates should be highly resourceful and comfortable working in an unstructured environment
Passion for helping customers, must display professional conduct with confident interpersonal skills
Compensation
Equity dependent on experience and time commitment, commission based compensation negotiable
