Sales & Branding Consultant - Beverage Company

Overview
We are a new age beverage company that has designed a line of nutrient-enriched beverages aimed at helping you look good, feel good, and do good. Our flagship beverage is packed with nutrients and vitamins that enhance your hair, skin and nails--like Biotin, Lutein, and Omega 3 Oils--and comes lightly flavored, sugar FREE, and preservative FREE. But our company aims more than just to focus on the superficial. We believe companies should be committed to more than just the bottom line right from its inception. And so an integral part of our culture is aimed at helping others and the environment by pushing the beverage industry into accepting biodegradable bottles, and by making sure our revenues are put to use in the community. We have our initial 3 flavors selected, and our first production run ready to go. Now we need someone to help us get these products on the shelf. We need YOU!
Responsibilities
1) GENERAL SALES MANAGER DUTIES
-Advise on pricing strategy
-Strategic Sales Planning
-Advise on distribution channels appropriate to target market
2) GENERATING NEW BUSINESS
Obtain distribution at new customers
Prepare and coach owners for sales calls
Attend initial sales calls with owners
Advise on maintaining relationships with accounts
Advise on expanding business at existing and new accounts
3) MANAGING BROKERS
Coach owners on finding and negotiating terms with brokers
Coach owners on managing broker relationships
Experience
Prior consulting experience (required)
Prior experience in beverage or food distribution and/or sales (required)
Experience managing brokers (required)
Wholesaler distribution network (preferred)
Start-up experience for consumer goods (preferred)
Functional beverage experience (highly preferred)
Skills
Basic software skills for sales & distribution, e.g., CRM and inventory tracking
Compensation
