We are looking for a sales development representative to join our NYC team.
Sales Development Representatives play a critical role at Movable Ink. The primary goal of a Sales Development Representative is to fill our pipeline with qualified leads for our Sales team. We are looking for someone who understands our value proposition and can go out to market to properly and enthusiastically represent who we are and what we have to offer. By qualifying prospects and generating interest, you will be the first voice of Movable Ink.
Develop new relationships by way of phone, email, and social media in order to establish meetings with senior level decisions makers in companies that could benefit from what we have to offer.
Assess the prospect's needs, explain Movable Ink solutions, qualify the prospect, and schedule meetings for your Field Sales colleagues to begin their sales process.
Help to close the deal by learning as much as you can about a potential client and sharing that information with the Field Sales team so they can leverage that information at prospective meetings.
Work in tandem with Field Sales to research potential targets and identify key players and penetrate those targets by using creative strategies and tactics.
Apply your organization skills by using our sales database and marketing automation tools to manage your pipeline and maintain accurate information about suspects, prospects, and their companies.
1 – 3 years of experience in a market/sales development role.
Proven track record achieving measurable monthly lead development goals with a senior level audience.
Self-motivation and the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, highly automated sales environment.
A solid understanding of what it takes to effectively manage and execute inbound and outbound prospecting strategies.
Salesforce.com savvy and familiar with marketing automation platforms like Marketo and Eloqua.
Proactive, hard working and responsible.
Previous experience prospecting for an Enterprise SaaS or Financial Services firm a plus.
