Sales Development Representative

Overview
This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor (less than 10 sales people) of a multi-million dollar revenues, profitable, start-up - and learn how to sell to executives of companies like HP, IBM, Dell, SAP, and T-Mobile (some of our customers).

The main focus of the Sales Development Rep position is in developing qualified prospects for our sales process through referral network nurturing, partner channel development, cold calling and managing of various marketing and social media programs designed to cultivate prospects for deeper qualification.
Responsibilities
Develop target prospect lists and execute cold outreach to executives at select IT tech companies
Develop initial contacts with partners and referral selling partnerships
Manage various social media tools for inbound prospect development
Explain our company's offerings and problems we solve to prospective customers
Generate qualified leads and set sales appointments for Sales
Interact with prospects and provide high level offering information
Manage prospecting status and forecasting in Salesforce.com
Experience
What qualifies you for this position? You have:
Zero to three years at a Business-to-Business organization in an Inside Sales Development or Inside Sales role – recent graduates welcome
Proven track record in making cold calls and converting prospects into qualified leads
Skills
Fluency in English along with excellent phone skills, phone etiquette, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Experience working with an online CRM or SalesForce Automation System, along with a strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Good knowledge of SaaS platform basics and enterprise software space overall
Self Confidence and a Team Player attitude along with a strong work ethic
Persistence to overcome obstacles and achieve quotas
Willingness and ability to invest real energy into a 6 month on-the-job sales training program
Education
Graduated with a BS/BA degree from a respected college or university
Compensation
$40,000 + $20,000 Bonus/Commission
