Sales Director - SaaS Software Company

Overview
WorkforceTrack - Finnet Limited is looking for an experienced Sales Director. As an early stage growing private firm, we’re looking for an energetic, hands-on person with a minimum of 5 years experience in selling business to business IT/software solutions, who has the vision, capability, direction and leadership to help us achieve our planned growth. The position will entail on developing partnerships with B2B clients but will also include leading overall sales and marketing initiatives. We are seeking someone that will be a self-starter, motivated to make a change and become a vested partner in the success of the company. The ideal candidate will work closely with our CEO, and will become a senior executive of the company, provided he or she achieves targets. After temporary trial period, generous, success rate driven share option plan will be available for this job.
Responsibilities
Lead the charge of WorkforceTrack's new sales organization as its first UK sales employee.
Grow sales velocity and revenue through strategic sales.
Build sales team including outside vendor/reseller network.
Sales reporting.
Work with channel partners to nurture opportunities to close.
Work with product management team to ensure product roadmap is consistent with prospect needs.
Conduct prospecting cold calls and demos.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of B2B IT/Software sales experience.
Track record of building reseller network.
Role will be salary + commission based + share options, but first trial period of 3 months might be fixed fee only + commission.
Our product is an easy sell - with demos/telesales team behind already.
Skills
Vision and ability to build a B2B reseller network, with experience in the past.
Demonstrated ability to build a sales team and sales processes.
Practitioner of effective and proven selling systems and techniques.
Metrics oriented outlook to sales.
Experience leading, managing and growing a small to mid-size sales team.
Strong understanding of online web-based technologies required.
Appreciation of an open, transparent and SME/multi tasking culture.
