Overview
Great opportunity in pre and post sales role in successful, growing start-up for a Software Engineer experienced in Web Apps. Opportunity to work across functions in development and troubleshooting of ad campaigns.
Responsibilities
Interface with and support Sales, Product and Engineering in identifying, designing and coding new features and functionality
Interface with and support Sales, Engineering and Operations in identifying and resolving production issues at the system level. You will trace campaigns through our ad server to identify technical problems, then debug code to get the system/campaign live.
Interface with and support Sales as they work with adBrite’s clients (Major Advertising Agencies and Publishers)
Design, develop, and maintain tools and systems in JAVA (some front-end applications written in PHP).
Assist Operations with deployments.
Experience
Development and/or Operations experience in large scale, high volume web applications
Skills
Java and/or PHP skills, with end to end experience preferred
Strong SQL capabilities.
Understanding of web technologies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially the ability to discuss technical matters with non-technical personnel, both within adBrite and with advertising and publishing clients.
Work independently and as part of a small group: must be able to work collaboratively, and to check your ego at the door
Education
BSCS or equivalent
