Sales Manager

Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic sales executive with a demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and managing client relationships in the publishing industry. However, your industry background is less important than your ability to relentlessly chase after the company’s revenue goals with a go-getter attitude. Successful candidates will be able to quickly understand the key drivers and pain points of our customers and close sales.
Responsibilities
Understand your client’s business and their challenges / opportunities
Develop and maintain broad and deep customer partnerships
Create a strategic and actionable account plan that defines a clear growth strategy
Develop and manage a healthy and predictable pipeline that includes qualified opportunities
Close opportunities by continuously reinforcing business value
Ensure that clients deploy the solutions acquired by working with team members on deployment plans and customer adoption of these plans
Skills
Ability to form the primary link between our customers and our software engineering, product management, and marketing teams
We are a startup – So you must be flexible to help with projects outside your domain of expertise
A technical background is not necessary but a solid understanding of mobile products and software platforms would be useful in this role
Education
Bachelor’s degree with experience in account management, software or mobile sales, and/or business development
