Summer Workation is an education social enterprise that is working to transform teachers' summers. We are currently looking to hire a Sales Manager to create and build our sales team. The Sales Manager will begin by using both phone and email to convert sales. As sales grow, this individual will work to grow and manage our sales team. The Sales Manager will have the option to work from our office or to work from home.
Initially the Sales manager will work on a 1099-basis, but our eventual goal is to hire this individual as a full time member of our staff.

Shaping overall sales strategy for the company
Presenting and selling company products and services to current leads
Developing leads, reaching out to customers (via email and the phone) and closing sales
Growing our team by hiring additional sales representatives
Providing training to new sales employees
A strong experience in sales is required
Experience as a leader and manager
Previous work with a web-based start up company a plus
An interest in education/social enterprise a plus
Strong communication skills (phone and email)
Knowledge of Salesforce, Zoho or other CRM tools is helpful, but is not required
Four-year college degree
Initially compensation will be commission base, but will quickly grow to a salaried position
