Sales Representative

Overview
The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in nurturing leads and building relationships over time and ultimately turning them into active sales campaigns to close deals. This sales representative position will provide a great opportunity for anyone looking to pursue a career in a start-up environment with ample potential and growth with the company. Applicant needs to have significant experience in calling, emailing and building strong relationships with prospects. You MUST be comfortable talking to people in person as well as over the phone.

This role requires a person to be highly motivated, enjoy selling, and be up for a challenge. We are one of the leading start-ups in the bay area that will help you learn and grow with the company with quick growth within early stages.
Responsibilities
Outside account executives are expected to combine related experience in local-merchant advertising with respective connections to build partnerships for Zenclusive. You’ll interact with all types of companies including auto dealerships, gas stations, restaurants, theaters, spas, and everything in between. We’re looking for someone that isn’t afraid to cold call, make sales presentations and can build solid, long lasting relationships and has the drive to succeed in a startup environment.
In addition to generating your own leads, you will be given company leads and marketing support to help build your territory.
Experience
A minimum of one year sales experience
Possess a skill set as a successful hunter, closer, and marketer
Ability to generate leads and build a territory
Self starter who enjoys thinking of ways to help clients reach their specific goals
Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule with some nights and weekends depending on customer base
Experience canvassing and cold calling various types of local businesses, with evidence of consistent past and current success
Education
High school diploma/GED required, bachelors degree preferred
