Responsibilities
HubSpot’s Internet Marketing Specialist (IMS) Trainer will support sales managers and the broader sales organization with sales on-boarding, on-going training programs, and other sales operations activities. The IMS Trainer will be an Inbound Marketing Product expert and will leverage this knowledge to ready incoming sales professionals for Seamless Day One performance. Specific goals of the role:
Fluency in the HubSpot suite of solutions and products. This role will partner with Product Owners, Developers, IMCs, Marketing and Sales Leadership to develop materials, update curriculum and keep the sales force up to date and fluent on product enhancements;
General industry expertise, i.e.; social media smarts and general fluency in popular consumer applications;
Develop best practices for selling the cutting edge HubSpot Inbound Marketing System. Enhance current curriculum and course delivery for maximum impact and Day One Readiness;
Onboard new talent in the ‘HubSpot way’, ensuring cultural on boarding is seamless and successful;
Day to Day duties will include:
Working closely with sales leadership to enhance, continue to develop, and maintain sales new hire training program;
Execute sales new hire training on inbound marketing concepts, HubSpot product, sales best practices, sales; operations procedures and tools (SalesForce.com, GoToMeeting, etc.)
Work with sales managers on developing and maintain prospecting and demo scripts for HubSpot target personas;
Serve as the liaison between Product Owners/Developers, Marketing and Sales as new product features are released;
Work with sales managers to develop, and/or customize on-going sales development programs (Sales Development Night, Film Morning, Sales Status Meetings, etc.)
Work closely with Talent Acquisition to understand new hire training needs and maximize on-boarding
Participating in other strategic initiatives and assuming additional responsibilities as requested. Acting as a consultant to manageme
Experience
A highly analytical and technical star is needed here. You must have expert level knowledge of the MS Office Suite (especially Excel & PowerPoint) SalesForce.com, Google Docs. Power user of the following consumer applications: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Digg and other popular online social media/networking tools;
Experience as a trainer within a software setting is highly desired; operations experience highly desired;
Ability to effectively and succinctly teach technical information to a non technical audience;
Ability to build relationships and command credibility quickly with internal stakeholders;
Superior communications skills, meaning, you have excellent verbal capacity, incredible writing skills and posses the ability to capture an audience during a presentation
Must be extremely organized, supremely detail oriented and have the memory of an elephant. The Sales Trainer will at times manage overwhelming amounts of information/concepts/thoughts/feedback that will need to captured and translated into cohesive ideas and executable next steps;
Prior experience in high tech environment. Experience within a start-up is highly desired. Prior experience with Internet marketing is a huge plus;
Consultative ability to observe live sales activity and translate successful activity into sales best practices is highly preferred;

Education
