Our young, venture-backed company has developed a cutting-edge online gifting platform that has been featured by CNET, CNN, Fox News, Venture Beat, InStyle, and other major media outlets. We are seeking a Sales & Business Development Intern to help propel our company into the next stage of growth. Candidates should have a passion for local businesses, social media (think Facebook), and a desire to roll up their sleeves in a fast-paced startup environment.
The Gig.
As our Sales & Business Development Intern, you'll be contributing to the launch of a new product on Facebook and educating local businesses about its benefits:
* Making a high volume of sales calls to a variety of local business owners
* Managing your own leads and driving the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
* Spearheading and creating content for innovative online marketing campaigns
* Identifying and pursuing opportunities for key tie-ins with online and offline affiliates
* Collaborating with our passionate, hard-working, and highly creative team
This 10-week position is unpaid. You will gain hands-on experience in a high-growth market. We're talking real work, no coffee-fetching required.
The Location.
We're headquartered in New York City, but you may have the opportunity to work from anywhere across the country.
