Glanz.tv is looking for a qualified intern to join our marketing/sales team. Intern will work along side the company's Marketing & Sales Officer; the intern will assist with several marketing and sales initiatives.
This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing. We're looking for a marketing intern that will grow with our company.
Glanz.TV is looking for a student in the Washington DC Metro area who is majoring in Sales, Marketing or Advertising. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good working knowledge of web and social media. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.
Contribute to content creation for local ads, manage ad creation process and be the "go-to" resource for ad related matters
Social Marketing Execution and Support: promote and acquire new subscribers to our social media sites
Act as ambassador and liaison for company with online community
Increase lead generation through online marketing
Connect with inbound leads and other prospects that are provided and consult with and qualify inbound leads
Track campaign and website analytics
Provide management with weekly feedback, metrics and external discussions related to online marketing and campaigns
Assist in meet and greet's and networking events
Play an integral role in all aspects of the organization, as needed, as we grow our company
Has some experience in this industry and the area of responsibilities laid out above. Working with a marketing manager previously is optimal.
All the basics: results oriented and energetic
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with a diverse constituency

Marketing undergrad major, second year preferred
This is an internship position with opportunity to be hired. Internship credits can be applied to your University.
