Overview
Fission is seeking a senior developer with deep experience in CodeIgniter (or deep experience in PHP and familiarity with CI) and Javascript for part-time or contract work. Experience with Facebook app development is a (big) plus.
We are looking to develop a relationship with an independent contractor who can take on work as s/he is available, to supplement our team of 2 developers. Requests range from a few ad-hoc hours to hundreds of hours over 4+ months.
Right now, we have the following projects available: completion of development on a web-based product (36 hours), setting up Django CMS templates (10 hours), and 2 website development projects (50-80 hrs each).
Fission is a strategy and web dev firm that works with cause-oriented organizations to help them use technology and social media to engage supporters in their work. Our clients include Greenpeace, Oxfam, Momsrising, and Hosteling International USA. We do fast-paced work with great clients. Our team of 12 is distributed, with staff in 6 states. There is no location requirement; we're just looking for a great developer who is easy to work with and can jump on projects when needed.
