Overview
About this job:
We are looking for an senior level developer with node.js experience who will:
be a knowledge base for their teammates and also the node.js community
create unit-tested, high performing code; anticipating edge cases and prevent 99% of bugs with your commitment to thoroughness
communicate effectively with your team mates; participate in a scrum development process.
design and implement
work with our team of in-house developers to build and perfect a product we have already taken from prototype to stable public beta
be reliable to work in house, but you self motivate to get stuff done around the clock
be proud to say a year from now that they created a world class infrastructure used by Fortune 500 companies
work in partnership with teammates from tech and product to identify/execute the company vision

Experience
Deep experience with at least one modern scripting language. Expererience with node.js, JavaScript (Jquery/CoffeeScript/node.JS), and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, virtualized/cloud based architecture, working with a sysadmin to ensure maximum uptime. We rely heavily on internal APIs and will be building external APIs too, so youll need to be able to come up with technical specs that will be understood by a broad range of developers.
Have on the job experience with node (likely in a startup)
Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field. Masters or more a plus.
Excellent communication/collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
