Senior Financial Analyst

Amplify is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to provide financial support to the executive team throughout the company. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be able to not only coordinate and compile budgets and results, but help develop strategies to improve the financial results and the quality of forecasts through sophisticated financial models and simplified presentations. The Analyst will find ways to improve financial operations and maintain general ledger integrity through process improvement and integration of technology.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Financial Analyst:

Play a lead role in supporting all phases of the financial planning process
Participate in quarterly / annual budgetary process
Coordinate with peers in General Accounting and Revenue Accounting to ensure deliverables are met
Prepare and communicate monthly and quarterly variance analysis and KPIs
Identify opportunities to reduce cost and identify Key Performance Indicators to help manage business
Prepare materials for senior management presentations, discussions and reviews
Present management with recommendations for resolving key issues
Manage Budgeting System upload and reconciliation
Other projects as assigned by manager

Basic Qualifications of the Sr. Financial Analyst:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other business discipline
5+ years of relevant finance experience in a dynamic planning and analysis environment
Proven ability to utilize systems functionality, extract data and manipulate to support reporting and planning processes
Proficient in written and verbal communication
Proven proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications of the Sr. Financial Analyst:

Candidates with skills in Access and SQL preferred
Experience with cash flow analysis and modeling
Experience working with planning and reporting tools, such as Adaptive Planning, etc.
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
