Hiring a senior Front End Engineer for a well-funded ecommerce startup launching in late Q1 2010 that is revolutionizing the auction space.
Led by a seasoned team of founders from Yahoo, Microsoft, Half.com, eBay, and Apple, we are looking for innovative thinkers who excel in fast paced environments and are ready to make a big impact.

Skills
Experience building consumer facing web applications
Expert in PHP or JSP (both is a major plus)
Expert knowledge of JavaScript and libraries
Strong knowledge of CSS
Experience developing with a MVC framework
Proficiency in server-side technologies, preferably Java.
Knowledge of internet communication protocols, languages and patterns (e.g. HTTP, Web Services / SOAs, XML, REST, AJAX)
Experience building highly scalable consumer web applications
Understanding of the web browser space and ability to write code that works across all browsers
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or similar/relevant field preferred
Education
