Senior Hardware Engineer (Robotics)

CtrlWorks is a small and growing team of hardware, electronics and software techies with lots of industry experience. We build mobile robots and are being supported by the Singapore government. We are seeking to add team members to work on the hardware/electronics/mechanical/software/algorithm systems of our robots. Responsibilities
Lead hardware system architecture discussions and design cycles
Meet customers' requirements and delivery timelines
Responsible for the formal design documentation, implementation, test and validation processes
Self-starter who has a proven track record of delivering quality work
Experience
Experience with hardware troubleshooting tools (e.g. oscilloscope, logic analyser, IR thermometer)
Experience with power electronics components and building blocks (e.g. MOSFET's, SMPS, motor drivers) is an advantage
Experience with embedded Linux systems is an advantage
Experience with DFM/DFT, component sourcing and type certification (e.g. CE, UL) processes is an advantage
At least 3 years of relevant working experience is an advantage
Skills
Proficient in microcontroller-based circuit design/development/troubleshooting, preferably with the ARM Cortex series
Proficient in schematic capture/circuit board layout software (e.g. Altium Designer)
Good communication skills to liaise with vendors
Proficient in Chinese language (speak, read, write)
Proficient in system design and board layout techniques for EMI/RFI management
Proficient in C programming language and communications interfaces (e.g. UART, I2C, SPI)
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
