Responsibilities
Partner with architects, product managers, fellow designers, and engineers to drive to the heart of a complex problem space and articulate clear requirements.
Synthesize business, technology, and user needs and envision innovative, smart, and holistic design solutions.
Bring ideas to life with compelling vision pieces and crystal-clear written and verbal communication.
Produce highly usable and best-in-class designs for web and mobile environments.
Drive clarifications of user personas and use cases and be the voice of user for usability.
Communicate overall UX strategy and deliverables to UI Manager
Collaborate and iterate across functions to bring vision to fruition
Experience
Minimum 7 years in the industry as a member of an UX Design team.
In-market examples of successful UX design, and experience in every phase of the product development life-cycle.
Experience designing enterprise-level web applications preferably for IT tools.
Intimate understanding of design heuristics and examples of great, usable design solutions for web, desktop and mobile products.
Experience working with or leading user research; ability to translate user goals and behaviors into designs.
Ability to assess technology constraints and opportunities, and adjust design approaches accordingly.
Ability to create workflow diagrams, wireframes, and mock-ups rapidly and at an appropriate level of fidelity.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Careful attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage work to adhere to critical project timelines
Education
Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
