Overview
We’re seeking a brilliant, motivated, senior-level applications developer to help us bring our hardware and software-based energy management system to the world. Ideally you’ll have a passion for energy efficiency, increasing the I.Q. of our nation’s electric grid, and experience working with open source software frameworks, embedded platforms, home/building automation systems, or consumer-oriented products.

Recognizing innovators come in all shapes and sizes, however, means we’re open to overachievers from high-technology realms too.
Skills
Demonstrated proficiency in Java application development
Knack for designing, simplifying, and implementing complex systems
Capacity for drawing out and anticipating customer requirements
Talent for mastering new technologies in short periods of time
Ability to work autonomously on new product features with minimal instruction
Experience working with RDBMS and object-relational frameworks
Exposure to dependency-injection frameworks and OSGi
Aptitude for working with Linux and embedded systems
Familiarity with integration patterns, platforms, and approaches
Bonus points for competence in C, C++, or other programming languages
Compensation
This is a paid full-time position offering compensation and equity options commensurate with your experience and ability to make significant contributions to the development of our product.
