Overview
Ioko is currently hiring a Java Developer in Solana Beach, CA. ioko is a 100M company that specializes in designing, building, and running world-class technology platforms for large Media, Entertainment and telecommunication companies. You specifically will be performing development for our AT&T U-Verse project. See att.com/U-verse
Responsibilities
Support Technical Leads & Architects in the development Video-on-Demand technology for clients like AT&T U-Verse.
Develop custom software for digital media clients.
Work independently at the direction of senior team members.
Write quality code for on-time, on-budget deployment according to project management schedules.
Work with a team to ensure our client’s end product meets their standards for enterprise software applications.
Requirements:
5+ years experience with Java development (7+ for senior developer).
Experience developing enterprise applications with Java, J2EE.
Experience with Struts, Spring & Hibernate frameworks and be able to communicate the advantages of using them.
Solid understanding of web based or content management software development.
Experience working with technologies such as JBOSS, Apache, Websphere & Weblogic.
Full lifecycle experience, be highly technical and hands-on.
Good understanding of process and methods such as AGILE.
Be committed to design, build and deployment excellence.
Good communications skills
Ability to work with a team and have fun.
BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
Experience

$75,000 - $90,000 (Depending on Experience)
