Lancope is looking for a Senior Marketing Communications Manager, who will be responsible for driving awareness of the company and its solutions through effective marketing communications and branding and awareness programs in all forms of media. The Senior Marketing Communications Manager must have expertise in building targeted and persuasive messages and copy for a wide variety of uses, including sales and partner collateral, articles, whitepapers, case studies, website content, online advertising, video scripts, and more. Experience developing and maintaining a corporate website and online marketing programs is required. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing creative art direction to graphic designers and video production agencies.
Message Development: Develop effective, memorable, and differentiated messages to reach and engage technical and C-level decision makers. Ensure consistency of messages in all company communications.
Content Creation: Write, edit, and produce a wide range of content to support internal and external communications, sales and marketing programs, thought-leadership and brand awareness.
Website and Social Media: Generate constant stream of content for company website and blog, define the social media strategy and ensure frequent updates to networking sites, Twitter, LinkedIn Groups, and more.
Brand/Identity: Ensure consistent adherence to brand and messaging guidelines for all marketing materials and activities of creative agencies, video producers, photographers
Creative Direction: Provide ideas and art direction to creative agencies such as graphic designers, web developers, video producers.
5+ years of experience in creating marketing communications materials, preferably for a vendor of IT security, network, or enterprise software solutions.
Top-notch writing, editing and proofing skills
Proven ability to create effective content and manage production for a variety of media forms – print, online, video, presentation
Experienced in managing a corporate website, social media campaigns, search engine marketing and search engine optimization programs
Uses experience with demand generation and lead nurturing programs to plan content that captures attention, generates downloads, and increases conversion of leads to sales opportunities
Experienced in gathering input from product marketing, product management, executives, sales, PR and customers to prioritize communications needs and develop effective plans.
Track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects and consistently delivering on time
Ability to work independently and with a group
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to develop innovative, creative concepts and effectively direct external agencies to implement designs and concepts
