It may not be obvious from the outside that DocuSign® is amazing. As you dig in a bit you see that it’s growing like a weed, has the potential to reach every person as a target customer, and does so much more than meets the eye. Better yet, it’s filled with smart folks who work collaboratively and efficiently to ship product, hit sales targets and capture market-share. It’s a rare business like Uber, eBay/PayPal in the early years, and ours that has both sides of a transaction grateful and happy for their experience. DocuSign® is the Electronic Transaction & Signature Management leader and global standard for signing anything, anytime, anywhere, on any device. We have enabled over 40 million users to DocuSign more than 290 million documents in 188 countries and 43 languages around the world, while adding 50,000 new users every day. “DocuSign” is well on its way to becoming a verb and a household name.
The DocuSign mobile team is looking for an experienced Senior iOS Software Developer to join the team in SF. You’ll be joining a team of 4 iOS developers in SF responsible for all of DocuSign iOS development. The team is split geographically (in the same time zone!): Android is mostly in Seattle and iOS, Design, and Product Management are mostly in San Francisco. Since we are a small team and are extremely engineering driven, everyone is able to have a significant influence on the product and direction.
Our stack includes Node.js, CoffeeScript, Objective-C, Java, PHP, C#/.Net, MSSQL, and more. We like continuous integration, automation, and TDD, and we try to be as agile as we can. We use git to commit early and branch often, and we think that every commit should be automatically tested and built.
Collaborating in a small agile team of 3-5 development and QA engineers in 2-week iterations to rapidly develop new features and maintain existing ones.
Using the native iOS SDK to integrate with the DocuSign web platform (via REST API).
Working with the design and product management teams to understand and translate business requirements into design/engineering requirements and to provide estimates for development. You must want to be involved with the design, not just code to a spec.
Communicating ideas across teams effectively and quickly problem-solving complications as they develop.
Developing high-quality, ship-ready code with unit and integration tests; getting shamed if you break the build.
Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of products.
4+ years experience with any of these: Objective-C writing Cocoa or Cocoa Touch applications, including extensive UI programming
7+ years software development experience, including extensive integration with RESTful web services
Experience with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control, build process, testing, and code release
CS or related degree, or equivalent experience
