Experience
POSITION OVERVIEW
Working in an early stage, entrepreneurial settings, the Senior Executive candidate will have overall responsibility for the direction and performance for a major segment of the company. This may include oversight of functions such as Finance, IT, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, and Customer Service to name a few. You will interface with senior management, board of directors, investors, lenders, and attorneys. You will engage with other management members to align the management of your department with the short and long term strategic goals of the company.
Skills
Desired Skills & Experience
Work with CEO to set short and longe range strategic objectives of the company.
Has primary responsibility for management of major company function such as Finance, IT, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, and Customer Service.
Establishes department goals, budgets, capital expenditures to support company vision and mission.
Has primary responsibility for the identification,aquisition and retention of talent to ensure assigned department maintains its ability to meet assigned goals.
Keeps up-to-date on information of assigned functional areas under your control and makes necessary recommendations to keep company delivering leading edge solutions.
10+ years of experience in senior leadership roles managing major functional areas
Strong P&L management experience
Prior experience creating a new company or new department
Can demonstrate how you took a vision/goal and made it a reality.
Extensive professional network within your chosen discipline.
Experience and/or relationships in the VC, Angel or Private Equity market
Prior entrepreneurial experience as co-founder or employee a strong plus
Prior experience working for sweat equity a strong plus.
Education
•Bachelors degree, MBA a strong Plus
•Professional certifications in chosen discipline a strong plus
