Senior PHP Developer

Guild Launch is seeking talented, driven individuals to join our team. We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer who is comfortable in the full stack of web development tools, but with a primary focus on large scale PHP applications and database design. The Senior PHP Developer position will work with a 5 person development team that includes a software architect, a UI developer, graphic designer, and an additional PHP developer. The Senior Developer will work closely with the team to define functionality and to design and develop implementations of that functionality.
Developing large scale PHP web applications – 3+ Million Users
Maintaining web applications
Performing code development throughout life cycle
Designing and analyzing MySQL tables, queries and stored procedures
Front and back end development, working both independently and as part of a team
Engineer applications to automate business processes
5+ years of experience with web application development
Strong knowledge of PHP as well as CSS, JQuery, and Javascript
Strong back-end development skills, as well as database experience with MySQL
Linux Development Platforms – Centos and RHEL
Knowledge of Object-Oriented development
Experience with Memcache
Experience with Drupal
Experience with content management systems
Experience with large scale MySQL database optimization
Knowledge of MVC frameworks
Experience with Load Balancers
Experience with MySQL clustering and/or replication
Experience with Agile and/or Scrum development methodologies
Experience with online gaming
Experience with social applications
