Our team manages deep collaboration with company executives, product management, engineering, sales, account management, and marketing.

Mission:
As part of the Strategic Accounts team, the AppNexus Senior Program Manager will work with industry-leading partners in the digital advertising space. These partners push the AppNexus platform to the limits with their game-changing initiatives, and the Strategic Accounts team is responsible for their success.

This role is responsible for managing complex programs for our strategic accounts, including qualification, design, development, production, and commercialization. While the programs are often technology focused, the Senior Program Manager will collaborate cross-functionally within both business and technical organizations for the client and AppNexus. The program manager will have oversight of interrelated programs, manage cross-program dependencies, and will drive consultation and strategy at a higher-level than can be achieved at the individual project or program levels.

This is the perfect role for someone with 5-9 years of experience focusing on enterprise IT program management, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys sitting at the center of the most exciting company in a quickly growing industry.
Responsibilities

Qualify, scope, prioritize, qualify, and allocate resources for new programs
Develops plans, goals, milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation for programs
Executes program delivery effectively from inception to commercialization
Optimize decisions across multiple programs, trading off between quality, resources, scope, and time
Coordinate change management to minimize impact
Ensure program alignment with Strategic Accounts initiatives

Develop program management best practices within the Strategic Accounts team
Contribute to developing Strategic Accounts knowledge experts and sharing knowledge with other AppNexus teams
Experience
Passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid start-up environment
Ability to manage multiple complex and integrated technical programs requiring resources spanning many functional groups
Ability to influence client strategy and Strategic Accounts long-term planning
Capable of executing on program tasks when required
Effectively communicate to stakeholders, spanning both technical and business, operational and executive
Versatile, with excellent organizational, communication, and program management skills
At least 5 years of experience working in a client-facing capacity for IT projects; 5-9 years of experience overall
Experience in digital advertising a plus
