The process of finding a job (if you are a job seeker) or finding the best candidates (if you are an employer) is broken. It is too easy to submit a resume, and too difficult to find the best resumes from the thousands that might be submitted.
Bright harnesses the power of data to help eliminate the noise in the hiring process - efficiently connecting job seekers to their best opportunities, and employers to their top prospects.
Our Data Science team has built a superb scoring metric known as the the Bright Score, developed primarily in Python. We are looking for an engineer that can make our code more efficient, as well as proactively identify and remedy potential bottlenecks which could hinder our scalability. The engineer we're looking for needs to be an expert in developing, debugging, and optimizing multi-threaded code in Python, as well as be familiar with Python client libraries for other services including: Redis, Solr, ElasticSearch, CouchDB, and MySQL.
If you dream about solving unique scalability problems at night and enjoy it, apply today at: http://www.bright.com/apply/49907
