Overview
The Hybrid Cloud solution that we have built on various platforms is gaining market adoption rapidly. The solution breadth and platform support needs to be enhanced significantly. We need a person with strong python skills to join the existing team and help move the ball faster. There is immense scope for innovations and additions in this area and we want someone who can bring a high level of expertise, specifically on the python side, to help elevate this product set.
Responsibilities
Own, improve, maintain and enhance code responsible for synchronizing file systems
Specify, design and implement features that improve the utility, performance and scalability of the platform.
Enhance and extend cross-platform components that enable real-time sync of user data.
Provide engineering support for live production issues as needed.
Experience
5+ years of professional software engineering
Experience in algorithm designs
Expert in Python
Skills
In-depth knowledge of developing concurrent, distributed applications
Proven record in designing APIs and well-specified protocols, including web-services paradigms (REST)
Passionate about software quality
Proven ability to work in a fast moving environment
Education
BS (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent experience
