Overview
Develop test strategies for the Axcient appliance and datacenter applications. Develop and implement test plans, test cases, tools and infrastructure. Perform feature testing, platform testing, load and performance testing. Create and maintain automated test environments and test harnesses in conjunction with development team.
Responsibilities
Test development for Java J2EE web applications
Administration of web application servers (preferably Tomcat)
SQL administration (preferably MySQL)
UI test automation tools (preferably Selenium)
Linux/Unix system administration skills
Script programming (shell, PERL)
Experience
5-8 years QA experience. Preferably in small company or start-up environments.
Skills
Experience testing file systems, OSs or similar systems-level products.
Testing appliance-based software solutions
Testing enterprise-class products
Testing products interfacing to Exchange / Outlook
Experience with virtualization products (preferably VMWare)
Test case management tools
Experience building load/performance test infrastructures
Java, C++, C or C# programming
Education
• BS in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent experience.
