Senior Ruby On Rails Engineer

at Yammer in UK   —   May 10, 2013   |
Overview
At Yammer, we believe the things that separate a great engineer from a merely adequate one are passions and goals, character and personality, not specific technical skills. Engineering exists to move the business forward. We expect all employees to speak openly about their ideas, their concerns, and their contributions. Everyone has a voice in what we build and we expect them to use it.

We're seeking talented engineers to join our Rails team. You'll be expected to build stable, scalable, and robust features which help our users get their job done more efficiently. The Rails team works on public-facing applications and services almost exclusively. We build the site and APIs which serve millions of active users (and growing) every day. We spend a lot of time thinking about things like internationalization, caching strategies, A/B testing, and the product as a whole.
