Overview
CoachUp is looking for a Software Engineer who wants to be part of a small team going after a huge opportunity.

As a senior member of the CoachUp engineering team, you’ll be responsible for gathering requirements, creating organized engineering documents, designing and implementing new features for all areas of the CoachUp platform. You will innovate and captivate by refining, evolving, and creating new features to improve the usability and functionality of our software applications. By utilizing your expertise with all aspects of the web development life cycle and your strong coding skills, you will influence and develop software that will change the world.

We're developing at a fast pace and are constantly iterating and pushing releases into production. There will never be a single boring day at CoachUp!
Experience
Hands-on experience developing with Ruby on Rails, jQuery, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX
3+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience
Experience developing web-based consumer-facing applications using open-source software components
Experience with PostgreSQL databases
Experience building mobile applications is preferred
Experience in an Agile software development environment in a web context
Ability to work on the full web stack: from UI/UX design / front-end development to server side development
Ability to deliver cross-browser compatibility
A thorough understanding of how business needs drive product features
Demonstrated expertise with the entire software development life cycle
