Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our Federal Sales team. As part of our organization, you'll work with future and current customers who are building next-generation systems using our technology. This role is critical; you'll be representing us as a technical expert and must be able to communicate effectively the value of our technology.
Responsibilities
Present our technology to executives, architects, and developers
Convey our technology value to prospects
Organize and execute detailed Proof-of-Concept engagements with prospects
Build relevant and appealing software demos using our products
Work closely with Account management to develop sales strategies
Coordinate customer technical requirements with Product Management for continuing product evolution
Periodically create technical articles for publication showing our Technology and Business value
Experience
Requirements
US Citizen and understanding of the Federal Business and Standards (NIST, FIPS, DoD Mil Specs, GSA Acquisitions process etc.)
BS or higher in technical field, MS preferred
8+ years in technical professional services or sales engineering, Field Application Engineering
C/C++/Java/ Embedded System development experience, understanding of Real-time system, RTOS hands-on (VxWorks, Linux, Integrity, QNX, ThreadX) development knowledge
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Customer training experience a plus
Strong understanding of OS and network concepts
Strong understanding of device architectures
Experience with high performance distributed systems a plus as well as Experience of COTS/GOTS sales engineering
Fielded Market Data distribution examples is a strong plus
Self-motivated, comfortable operating without day-to-day direction. Ability to create a demo and present it to the federal customers, handling their technical questions for the implementation and their security standard/compliance perspective
