Senior Sales Officer

LifeDojo is a fast-growing, venture-backed online corporate wellness platform and we’re looking for a pioneering senior sales officer to join our passionate team at the ground floor as we grow into an industry-changing company.

At LifeDojo, we don’t pretend health behavior change is easy. Our 12-week programs are based on clinically proven behavior change programs that work, delivering the ROI to employers that matter most – less healthcare dollars spent, lower absenteeism, higher morale, and a culture of wellness that lasts.

Our initial pilot had over 30,000 paid users who loved our programs, and on June 1st, we’re launching our full product to the corporate wellness world. Responsibilities
Develop & Build a strategic sales structure and system for the company: Creating a detailed, tiered set of strategies based on sales targets (companies 250 – 2,000 employees)
Establish & strengthen relationships with Executives & HR Directors: Supporting both existing pilot customers and cultivate potential customers.
Track & communicate the specific needs & wants of early customers: Providing key feedback to the LifeDojo product and general team to ensure our product design priorities match the priorities and needs of customers! You’ll be the eyes and ears, and we’ll make sure to listen and innovate.
Drive the sales funnel from lead generation to close: From prospecting, to initial meeting, to close, you are in the drivers seat. Innovate, get scrappy, and make it happen.
Track what works, what doesn’t, and how to improve: By using agile CRM reporting and metrics and keeping track of our customer interactions, we’ll learn over time what works best and what doesn’t.
Collaborate in developing marketing, branding & messaging: Being on the ground, you’ll be a key voice in the development of marketing & messaging materials – help create ads, campaigns and more.
Experience
At least 5 years experience selling products and services to either Executives or HR/Benefits teams at self-insured, self-funded companies.
A proven sales record and ideally have been a top sales rep in a relevant position.
Skills
A passion and deep awareness of the corporate wellness & human resources ecosystem. You know how HR leaders and executives think, what they need, and what they stay up at night about. You believe wellness is not a side benefit or game, but an essential part of a vibrant corporate culture.
You carry credibility with your charisma. You are the person in the room who is trusted as being well-informed both in breadth and depth on the topics of wellness, wellbeing, and healthy living overall. You can learn quickly about new product features, integrate new learnings and angles into your pitch, and back up what you say to clients with facts.
You have relationships already. Being well known in the space, you are already thinking of executives & HR Directors who aren’t happy with their current wellness solution. You having existing relationships with consultants at established firms is a major plus.
You enjoy building relationships. You draw energy from connecting with current and potential customers – you love to help, check-in, and give advice. You are a storyteller by nature. You love facts and figures, but above all you connect with leads in a genuine, human way. Building trust is paramount to you, and you are thrilled to be an ambassador for the LifeDojo brand.
You know how to close. After the pins are set up you know how to knock em down. You have the communication skills, credibility and trust to walk the client through from initial chat to signing the contract. You know when to ask for support from the team, but can seal the deal independently if necessary.
You take pride in keeping track. Though it’s not directly bringing in dollars, you value keeping track, being organized and reporting the yes’s and no’s of your pipeline. You have no problem sharing detailed notes on each lead.
