myUsearch.com, the Honest College Matchmaker, is searching for a senior salesperson with a passion for education and a drive to help colleges control their marketing costs, protect their brand and increase enrollment by recruiting qualified and invested student prospects. As the senior salesperson, you will report directly to the vice president of business development and be solely responsible for generating your own leads, cultivating relationships with prospective clients and securing client contracts. This position requires a unique individual with proven results and the desire to support the growth of our entrepreneurial company.
Leveraging existing relationships with directors of admissions at not-for-profit and for-profit colleges
Generating new prospective customer leads
Cold calling directors of admissions at not-for- and for-profit colleges, and international recruitment offices
Occasionally attending trade shows
Building relationships with lead aggregators
Identifying and securing strategic partnerships with marketing agencies and other potential partners
Cultivating relationships with current clients in order to up-sell our services
Closing client contracts
5+ years experience in sales or business development
General knowledge of the college recruiting industry
Prior success selling to directors of admissions for not-for-profit colleges in a competitive market
A proven record of generating leads, cultivating relationships and closing client contracts
Proven ability of establishing and achieving sales metrics
Prior earnings of at least $90,000
Ability to find new opportunities, cultivate relationships and close a deal
Ability to self-manage and self-motivate
Ability to work from home and/or with limited supervision
Compensation will include both base pay and performance-based commission. Prior earnings of at least 90K required and salary to be determined based on prior experience.
