Overview
FriendFinder Networks, has an opening for a Senior Software Developer in our Web Development Group in our Sunnyvale Office. The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for architecting, developing, and working on a wide array of projects written in PHP/Perl/JavaScript/XSLT. The ideal developer will have broad knowledge of web development technologies and be well versed in software development processes, methodologies, and concepts. In addition, the ideal candidate should be an expert in JavaScript, AJAX, XML, XSLT, CSS, and DHTML on the LAMP Platform. Fluency in PHP5 and Perl is a definite must.
Responsibilities
The ideal developer will have broad knowledge of web development technologies and be well versed in software development processes, methodologies, and concepts. In addition, the ideal candidate should be an expert in JavaScript, AJAX, XML, XSLT, CSS, and DHTML on the LAMP Platform. Fluency in PHP5 and Perk is a definite must.
Experience
Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XSLT, at least 4 + years’ experience
Intimate knowledge of PHP4, Perl 5, and MySQL 5, at least 3+ years’ experience
Experience in Object Oriented Programming and Service Oriented Architecture.
Intelligence and a sense of humor to mix in well with a diverse group of bright engineers.
Skills
Methodical in documenting and testing your own code.
Someone who is passionate about their work and new technologies
Able to communicate well with others
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Comfortable with adult content.
