Overview
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who has experience in
startups. Our application relies on third party APIs, search, image
manipulation and LAMP.
We are building a world-class team that can solve the biggest problems
in creating the next-generation web experience to consume photos from
the cloud. These challenge include rich navigation across devices
(iPad, various browsers, ...), high performance backend service that
allow users search and discover relevant photos from all over the web,
and create photo products (photobooks, posters, mosaics) with those
photos.

Responsibilities
Product specs, development and architecture
Software development
Project management (define division of work, priorities, milestones, etc)
Manage other software developers and help them with software
development when needed
Database architecture and scalability.
Skills
BA/BS or better in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 5 years professional experience with at least 2 years
developing consumer web applications.
Experience with Machine Learning
LAMP
CSS
Databases: Concepts and languages (Cassandra, SQL, PostgreSQL,
synchronisation)
Flex (HTML5 would be a plus)
Social media API’s (e.g. Facebook, Google, Twitter)
Notions of computer graphics/image manipulation
Scalable web architectures
Web 2.0 security
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
