eCO2data, the carbon market data & analytics platform for professionals
eCO2Market is building a revolutionary B2B app which help companies to achieve their carbon emission reductions. Our platform eCO2data.com is already used by a wide range of industrial giants and financial institutions which are active on the emission market. While it is great, we have tons of new features and ideas to implement, that’s why we need an talented lead programmer that can jump into an existing project with an existing architecture and scale it to the next level.
We are looking for someone with the capacity to play a leadership role across the company and act as a spokesperson to the broader technical community. Part leader, part developer, part mentor, you are super passionate about what you do.

Closely working with the CTO, you will set the technical strategy to ensure every app is awesome while maximizing cross-platform productivity.

Responsibilities
Developing scalable web applications
Applications developement with Open Source Software Systems such as MySql and Pentaho.
Work closely with cofounders and shape the company
Work closely with product designers to shape product roadmap and strategy
Work with young passionate people.
Experience
Have previous start-up experience (a plus)
Skills
Be self-motivated individual who can take-up responsibilities and ownership of the tasks
Attract, motivate, and mentor a talented and passionate team
Have the capability and maturity necessary to manage a growing team of programmers
Establish, execute, and evolve the engineering organization and processes
Be creative and independent thinkers with an eagerness to learn
Develop an informed opinion about our target market and a compelling vision for our product
Have the business acumen to weigh in on all important strategic decisions
Be agile as this is a startup, so expect changes
Speak English and/or French
Have an entrepreneurial, start-up spirit
Ninja-level in PHP (including OOP) / MySQL / Javascript / jQuery / xHTML / CSS
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility
Excellent computer science knowledge, good programming skills in Python and an expertise in data ETL and BI.
Passionate about coding and code efficiency
Linux server administration knowledge, a plus
Statistics and R knowledge, a plus
